Design

The Design Committee supports Tazewell’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual assets that set the commercial district apart. The Design Committee meets at noon on the third Monday of each month at the Tazewell Today office, 160 Main Street.

Economic Vitality

The Economic Vitality Committee focuses on capital, incentives, and other economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovators that drive local economies in Tazewell. The Economic Vitality Committee meets at 4:30 pm every month on the third Tuesday at The Happy Goat, 216 Main Street

Promotion

The Promotion Committee positions the downtown or commercial district as the center of the community and the hub of economic activity while creating a positive image that showcases Tazewell’s unique characteristics. The Promotion Committee meets at 6:00 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the American Legion Building, 222 Central Avenue.
